FF7 Quicksilver

The Quicksilver in Final Fantasy VII.

A firearm that shoots mercury rounds. Magically reduced in weight, it improves mobility.
—Description, Final Fantasy Explorers.

Quicksilver (クイックシルバー, Kuikkushirubā?) is a recurring gun-type weapon in the Final Fantasy series.

AppearancesEdit

Final Fantasy VIIEdit

VII The Quicksilver is Vincent's initial weapon, and provides 36 Attack, 110 Attack%, 10 Magic, 1 set of linked materia slots and 1 unlinked materia slot, for a total of 3 slots, at normal growth. It can be bought for 1,000 gil at Junon during discs 2 and 3.

It appears that the Quicksilver may have been retconned to have been replaced by Cerberus as Vincent's original weapon. Despite Cerberus first appearing as Vincent's weapon in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Vincent is seen wielding it in the movie's prologue while everyone else is wielding their default weapons. It resembles the real world Colt M1911 pistol.
