The Queen lived in the Ancient Castle during the time of the War of the Magi. She fell in love with the esper Odin, finding him a noble, dashing man. Though societal laws frowned upon esper and human relations, the Queen could not help her feelings and vowed that when the fighting ended, she would confess her love to him. However, the castle fell in a siege, and both Odin and the Queen were petrified.
A thousand years later, the Returners find the Ancient Castle and the Queen's diary where she wrote of her love for Odin. The Queen's petrified remains can be found in a side-passage in the castle, accessed by pressing a hidden switch in front of the throne. When the party approaches the statue with Odin's magicite in their possession, the statue sheds a tear, infusing Odin with new power and transforming him into Raiden.
- The Queen uses a grey-scale sprite of Celes in her opera gown.
- She is referred to as a princess instead of a queen in the Japanese version.
- If Terra is in the party when they read the Queen's diary, there is a small optional scene where she reflects on the forbidden love between a human and an esper mirroring that of her parents.
