The Queen Coeurl is an enemy in Final Fantasy X-2. She is a fairly powerful enemy, as she can inflict Instant Death as well as inflicts high damage with her elemental spells. It is advised to have elemental resistance or absorption, or Reflect or Shell, to counter her spells, and be able to hit with powerful attacks such as Excalibur, Annihilator, and the like. In Oversoul, she is only slightly more difficult to defeat.

In the Fiend Tale endings, a notable Queen Coeurl was infamous for escaping various confinements that include those of poachers. However, Queen Coeurl found herself outmatched as she learned she was kept within an airship with her fear of heights getting the best of her need to escape.
Etymology
The coeurl is a fictional alien race created by science-fiction writer A. E. van Vogt. Coeurls also appear in other fantastical environments, such as in Dungeons & Dragons (as "Displacer Beasts"). Coeurls are generally described to be feline with longer forelimbs and tentacles.
