The Punisher (パニッシャー, Panisshā?) is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It most often appears as a Rod.

The Punisher is a rod found in the Ancient Castle available to Strago, Relm, and Gogo. It has an attack power of 111, and consumes 10 MP when attacking for a guaranteed Critical Hit. It is affected by the Capture Glitch.

Final Fantasy XEdit

The Punisher is a rod available to Yuna when Deathstrike is the dominant ability.

Final Fantasy XIIIEdit

The Punisher is a model for a spear obtainable by Fang. It can be bought in Plautus's Workshop for 31,000 gil once the player has reached Chapter 12. It has the passive ability Stagger: TP Charge on it, and the synthesized ability Physical/Magic Wall. It can be upgraded into the Banescissor Spear with a Scarletite.

Dissidia Final FantasyEdit

The Punisher is one of Kuja's exclusive weapons. It grants +185 HP, +35 ATK, +1 DEF, and increases EX Force Absorption by 15%. It can be obtained by trading 15,460 gil, a Wizard's Rod, three Rubies, and two Resilience Shards.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

The Punisher returns as a level 30 exclusive weapon for Kuja, and provides +376 HP, -84 Bravery, +40 Attack, +2 Defense, and +3% EX Force Absorption. It can be obtained by trading 61,000 gil, a Wizard's Rod, Scarletite, and five Reaper's Desires.
