The Prototype is an enemy found only in the Whisperwind Cove, a bonus dungeon added to the Dawn of Souls version and reappearing in future versions of Final Fantasy. They appear on the Flying Fortress floors and are this game's versions of the Final Fantasy V enemy.
Battle
Though not as strong as the Soldier enemy, it is highly resistant to magic for its family. In addition to the amount of gil it drops, its Rune Axe drop is worth hunting for, because it casts Curaga when used as an item.
