The Proto Armor is an enemy in the game Final Fantasy VI. It is the most dangerous enemy in the Magitek Factory because it can use Launcher. Like most enemies in the Magitek Factory, it also has high Defense. Thunder and Thundara spells make quick work of it. The Noiseblaster, Cait Sith, and Siren also work well. Casting Silence on them will save you trouble. You can even steal Mythril Mail from them.
The Proto Armor appears on the Veldt, however, it does not have a Rage.
