FFRK

Princess of Alexandria, The Path to Escape was a Challenge Event in Final Fantasy Record Keeper. The event is set in the Ice Cavern and allowed players to recruit Garnet and Vivi to their parties.

Its background theme was "Ice Cavern", the battle theme was "Battle 1", the boss theme was "Battle 2", and the victory theme was "Fanfare", all from Final Fantasy IX.

New featuresEdit

As the first event of the game's second major wave, Princess of Alexandria introduced two new features to the overall game:

  • Memory Crystals: Level breaking is now possible. Should players acquire any Memory Crystals, the characters shown within each Crystal have an opportunity to break the initial level cap set at level 50. Thus, the level limit for all characters has been raised to 65, pending each character receives a Memory Crystal to allow breaking.
  • Elite Dungeons and Bonus Battles: Should the player achieve a Master score on any of the original dungeons (hereafter to be called "Classic Dungeons"), an Elite variant of the same dungeon will be unlocked. As with the regular game, which already possessed an Elite mode, the difficulty level of each event dungeon increases dramatically over its Classic counterpart. However, the rewards within are far greater, including the above Memory Crystals. Further, completing all Elite battles will unlock one or more Bonus Battles with better rewards at the event's midpoint.

ScenarioEdit

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details about Final Fantasy IX follow. (Skip section)

After narrowly escaping the demonic vegetation of Evil Forest, Zidane, Vivi, Garnet, and Steiner must make their way above the Mist to safety. To do so, they must traverse the Ice Cavern south of their camp. It is said that untold dangers lie within.

Spoilers end here.
