Power Staff (力の杖, Chikara no Tsue?, lit. "Staff of Strength"), also known as Power Rod or Power, is a recurring weapon in the series.

The Power Staff is a low-level staff used by all Jobs except Thief, Red Mage, and Red Wizard. It only has an Attack power of 12, and is worth 12,345 gil. It is obtained from a treasure chest in the Western Keep after receiving the Mystic Key, and won from Rhyos.

Final Fantasy IIEdit

Power Staff is a mid-level weapon bought in Mysidia and Machanon for 8,000 gil. It has an Attack of 53, Accuracy of 66%, and Evasion of 2%.

Final Fantasy IVEdit

"Staff that sometimes drives enemies berserk."

Power Staff is a mid-level weapon that can inflict Berserk on hit. It provides +30 Attack, +49 Accuracy, and +10 Strength. It can be bought for 2,000 gil in the Cave of Eblan.

Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-Edit

Power Staff returns in the sequel of Final Fantasy IV. The staff can be equipped by Rosa and Porom. It can be bought in Damcyan Castle and Fabul Castle for 2,000 gil. The staff has an attack power of 30 and a accuracy of 49, it can also cast Berserk when used as an item during battle.

Final Fantasy IV: The After YearsEdit

The Power Staff retains all but its Accuracy statistics from Final Fantasy IV, with its Accuracy being 0% this time around. It can be found in Porom's Challenge Dungeon.

Final Fantasy VEdit

The Power Rod is a high-ranked weapon used by the magic-based classes. It provides +27 Attack and +3 Magic, and can be stolen from Farfarello. Oddly, it does not inflict any damage at all, but will inflict Berserk on its target.

Final Fantasy XEdit

The Power Staff is a weapon for Yuna, when her rod has all Strength-raising auto-abilities on it: +3%, +5%, +10%, and +20%.

Final Fantasy XIEdit

The Power Staff is an unusual mage's staff that increases the wielder's Strength in combat. It can only be obtained from a goblin NM in Ifrit's Cauldron.

Final Fantasy XIIEdit

The Power Rod is a mid-rank weapon that requires 30 LP to use through the Rods 3 License. It costs 4,500 gil and is sold in Phon Coast and Archades. It provides +44 Attack, +3 Magic, and +15 MP. Rods are among the slower weapons in Final Fantasy XII with 2.72s charge and 1.2s action time.

In the International Zodiac Job System version, the White Mage may equip the Power Rod by obtaining the Rods 3 license for 40 LP.

Final Fantasy Tactics AdvanceEdit

The Power Staff is the most powerful staff in the game, and provides +45 Attack, +6 Defense, and +5 Magic Resistance. It can be obtained by completing the mission Who am I? which requires two Magic Medals.

Power Staff is a low-rank weapon that can be used by all races. It provides 10 attack and 15 magic at level 1, while at level 30 it provides 60 attack and 107 magic, and also has one empty slot and can be bought for 375 gil. It can also be created for 100 gil by using up one Iron, three Oak Branches, and one Little Thorn. When turned into a jewel, a level 3-9 Power Staff makes a Might Malachite, level 10-19 makes a Wild Eye, and level 20-30 makes a Tiny Malva Diamond.

The Power Staff is a mid-level staff. It provides 44 attack power, +8 Wisdom, +5 Attack, and casts Berserk when used as an item.

Dissidia Final FantasyEdit

The Power Staff is a level 22 staff that increases base Bravery by 17 and Attack by 17. It can be traded for at the shop for 6,050 gil, Staff, and three Strength Powders.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

The Power Staff returns as a level 30 Stave that provides +25 Attack, +29 Bravery, and +5% EX Mode Duration. It can be obtained by trading 23,750 gil, the Flamescepter, and a Raffesia Vine.
