Potency is a positive status effect in Final Fantasy XI. It increases the rate of critical hits for 60 seconds. It is only available from the temporary item Champion's Drink, which you can obtain during Campaign, Besieged, Nyzul Isle, Salvage, or once every 20 hours if you have the rare Charged headpiece.
