Added by TenzaZangetsuPoison Gas (どくガス, Dokugasu?), also known as Bio Gas (バイオガス, Baio Gasu?) and Gas, is a recurring enemy ability in the series. It is often a moderately powerful Poison-elemental attack that targets the entire party and inflicts the Poison status. There also exists a more potent version sometimes, called Poison Breath, which deals much more damage than Poison Gas.

Poison Gas is an enemy ability used by the enemies Scarmiglione, Poison Naga, (GBA/PSP/iOS versions only), Tiamat, Green Dragon, and Chronodia (in the PSP/iOS versions). It inflicts moderate to major non-elemental damage to the party as well as Poison.
Final Fantasy IIEdit
Poison Mist is an enemy ability used by Tiamat, Green Dragon, and Iron Giant. It deals non-elemental damage and Poison to the party.
Final Fantasy IVEdit
Poison Gas, originally called Poison in the SNES version, is an enemy ability used by Dr. Lugae, Geryon, Scarmiglione, and Lunar Dragon. It inflicts minor non-elemental damage and Poison to the entire party.

Final Fantasy VIIEdit
Bio Gas, used by Helletic Hojo, inflicts Poison and moderate non-elemental damage to one character.
Final Fantasy VIIIEdit
Poison Gas is an enemy ability used only by Tri-Face, and inflicts high non-elemental damage as well as Poison and Confuse to one party member. It is often used when Tri-Face is at higher levels. The weaker variant Poison Mist, used only by Anacondaur when it has 50% or less max HP, inflicts Poison and non-elemental damage to the party, though the damage is negligible.
Final Fantasy XEdit
Poison Mist inflicts Poison and Confuse, as well as minor non-elemental damage, to the entire party, and is used by Spirit.
Final Fantasy X-2Edit
Poison Smog is an enemy ability used by Taromaiti, which inflicts minor non-elemental damage to the party, as well as Poison and Blind.
Final Fantasy Legend IIEdit
Gas is a magical attack that has 15 uses, it also increases a Robot's HP by 9. The damage formula for Gas is the user's Mana x5. The ability target's all enemies, and deals Poison-elemental. This attack can be used by Adamant, Anaconda, Arachne, Basilisk, C-Fisher, F-Spider, Gen-Bu, GianToad, HugeToad, Hydra, Ironman, Jorgandr, KingToad, Kraken, P-Toad, Pudding, Scarab, Sei-Ryu, SlimeGod, Squid, Stoneman, Minion, and TianLung.
