Phoenix Feathers are an exotic feather used in Clothcrafting. They are somewhat rare and hard to find (generally either from high-level BCNMs or Chocobo Digging). One of their applications is crafting a "Scapegoat" effigy, which acts as reraise.

Final Fantasy Type-0

Phoenix Feather is used to cast Reraise on one character.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

The Phoenix Pinion is not an item in this game, but an accessory that allows the player to survive a killing blow by exchanging Bravery with HP, and breaks immediately after activating. Its effects will be negated if an opponent is wearing the Destroyer accessory or if the user is suffering under Brave Break when their HP reaches 0.

In Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, it has been replaced by Iifa Dew.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

Revives a character with full HP when the character dies.

Origin

Phoenix Pinion refers to the primary flight feather of the Phoenix. Since the pinion is generally larger, longer and harder to molt unlike down feathers, Phoenix Pinion is regarded as exceptionally rarer and frequently more exclusive yet powerful than Phoenix Down. Also, unlike the down feathers, Phoenix mostly emits their sparkling life essence from the pinions and tail feathers.
