Parry (originally called Weapon Guard) is a reaction ability. The Knight class learns it for 200 JP. It is one of the only two reaction abilities not affected by Bravery. Parry grants the unit a chance equal to their equipped weapon's physical evade stat to completely evade a physical attack from the front or sides. (When Dual Wield is used, each weapon grants an independent chance to evade.) Usually this is a low amount, though certain weapons such as the Main Gauche, the Dancer's Clothes and the Defender have very high Evasion rates.
