Para-Magic is used and defined in Final Fantasy VIII as "magic used by regular humans". This shows that Limit Breaks and Sorceress power involve magic in a different way. The person who developed Para-Magic was Dr. Odine, by studying a Sorceress. This method is used by Balamb Garden and it involves manipulating energy and Drawing in specific spells from enemies.
