BattleEdit

This bird-like creature is surprisingly powerful; not only it can land some powerful kicks, it can inflict the Stun status on Zack, then follow up that attack with a powerful Beak attack. Make sure that Zack is protected against Stun. Cast Stop on it first, then continue with Assault Twister or other strong Command materia. Having Raise status is also recommended in fighting this foe.

Pachyornis is an extinct genus of ratites from New Zealand which belonged to the moa family.
