Original (Monster Arena)

Original is a group of specially bred fiends from Final Fantasy X. Not only are these monsters among the toughest in the game to beat, they also offer substantial rewards for unlocking them and also for defeating them in battle. To unlock these monsters certain requirements need to be fulfilled.
The following contains a list of all Original Species monsters and how to get them.
[edit] Fiends Unlocked
- Earth Eater - Breed at least 2 monsters in Area Conquest.
- Greater Sphere - Breed at least 2 monsters in Species Conquest.
- Catastrophe - Breed at least 6 monsters in Area Conquest.
- Th'uban - Breed at least 6 monsters in Species Conquest.
- Neslug - Capture at least 1 of each fiend in all areas throughout Spira.
- Ultima Buster - Capture 5 of each fiend roaming throughout Spira.
- Shinryu - Capture at least 2 of each underwater fiend in the Mt Gagazet cavern.
- Nemesis - Capture all 10 of each fiend found in Spira and defeat all other Original Species monsters at least once.

The following rewards are given once each Original monster is available for you to challenge.
- Earth Eater - 60 Three Stars
- Greater Sphere - 60 Supreme Gems
- Catastrophe - 99 Door to Tomorrow's
- Th'uban - 99 Gambler's Spirits
- Neslug - 99 Winning Formulas
- Ultima Buster - 99 Dark Matters
- Shinryu - 30 Megalixirs
- Nemesis - 10 Master Spheres
