The Oracle (予言士, Yogenshi^?, lit. "Prognosticator; Predictor"), or Mystic|陰陽士 (Onyoushi, Yin Yang User^?), is a Job class that has appeared in only a few Final Fantasy games. One such game is Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. They are able to use strange spells that either give someone status effects or deal HP or MP damage. In their appearances, their abilities have changed drastically, and as such, it is hard to say what the standard Oracle does.

The only notable Oracle in the series has been Banon from Final Fantasy VI, but he acts more like a White Mage. Also, his Japanese job class title is 神官 (Shinkan^?, lit. "Shinto Priest"), with "Oracle" being a mistranslation for the GameBoy Advance release of Final Fantasy VI. This title fits more with his healing ability, Pray.
