The Opera House glitch is a glitch found only in the Japanese Super Famicom version of Final Fantasy VI. The glitch involves leaving one of the rats on the Opera House catwalks alive until the World of Ruin. Upon being defeated by it in a battle, the player will be whisked away to the World of Balance instead of the World of Ruin. This is a very harmful glitch as the player will be unable to return to the World of Ruin, thus unable to complete the game.
