FFD Onyx Wave

Onyx Wave in Final Fantasy Dimensions.

Onyx Wave (漆黒, Shikkoku?, lit. Jet Black), also known as Darker Side or Black Bane, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is an attack usable by Dark Knights and is a powered up form of their signature Souleater. In the games where it appears, Souleater strikes one enemy while Onyx Wave hits all enemies, but Onyx Wave consumes much more HP to use.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light Edit

4HoL Darker Side is an ability usable by the Dark Fencer. It consumes some HP to allow the user to attack all enemies.

Bravely Default Edit

BD Black Bane is learned at Level 8 for the Dark Knight. It consumes 30% of the user's max HP to deal heavy dark-elemental damage equal to 150% of a normal attack to all enemies.

Bravely Second: End LayerEdit

BS Black Bane is the job level 6 command ability for the Dark Knight. The user sacrifices 30% of their maximum HP to unleash a dark-based physical attack on all foes.

Final Fantasy Dimensions Edit

FFD The Dark Knight learns Onyx Wave at job Level 5. It consumes a third of the user's max HP to attack all enemies.
