The Ogre is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. It is a strong physical enemy that appears in Giant's Cave and Cavern of Earth, as well as around Melmond and Elfheim in the grasslands. It often appears with Gigas Worms, usually two Ogres and a group of these. They are not hard to defeat, and they give plenty of Experience, perfect for players who are leveling up a bit.
