Ogopogo is an enemy from the game Final Fantasy IV. It uses a strong water spell called Deluge which calls forth massive waves that will decimate the party. After its defeat, it will drop the powerful Masamune. It starts the fight by using Deluge/Tidal Wave (varying depending on the version) twice.
[edit] Etymology
Ogopogo is the name of a cryptozoological creature reported to live or have lived in Lake Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada. Like the slightly more notable Nessie of Loch Ness, Ogopogo has never been identified as an actual living creature with any degree of scientific certainty, but the creature is never-the-less a popular tourist phenomenon.
Its Japanese name is possibly a portmanteau of "Tidal" and "Leviathan".
