Nunchaku (Male), real name chosen by player, is a player Turk from Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII-. Born into a wealthy lifestyle in Bone Village, he has never experienced much difficulty in life, and so has a very bright, optimistic outlook. He is naturally talkative and seems to enjoy getting along with his teammates, almost to the point of being overly warm.
His life began as the charmed son of a rich household where all of his needs were met in safe environment without any danger. However, he eventually got tired of the pampered lifestyle, and decides he wants more. So he goes off on his own to join the Turks, whom he has admired for many years.
He appears in the game from the start, but only in the Softbank version.
