NulFrost, (バコルド, Bakorudo) also known as AICE or Barblizzard, is a White Magic spell that protects against Ice damage.

NulFrost, also known as AICE in the Famicom release and NulIce in the Origins release, is a level 4 White Magic spell which reduces Ice-elemental damage inflicted on all allies by half.
The spell can be bought at Elfheim and can be learned by the White Mage, White Wizard, Red Mage, and Red Wizard job classes. In the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary releases it costs 8 MP to cast.

NulFrost negates one Ice-elemental attack or spell. Armors can be customized with SOS NulFrost, which will cast NulFrost when reaching critical HP status. When the spell is cast, a glowing white ball will orbit around the person it is cast upon. This is one of the first spells that Yuna can learn on the Sphere Grid when you first obtain her as a party member.

Barblizzard is used by Red Mages, while White Mages have Barblizzara (which is applied to the whole party). Rather than absorbing the next Ice attack, it increases a player character's resistance to it.
