FFD-Blitz Ninjutsu

Blitz.

Ninjutsu is a skillset usable by the Ninja job in Final Fantasy Dimensions. It is not a highly recommended skillset to use often in a common offensive manner as the damage with its type of skills is weak. However, its supportive skills can be useful in boss battles both around the time the player obtains the Ninja job, and even more so as the game progresses, in case the healers get stuck in a bad situation.

Characters can deal more damage with offensive Ninjutsu by using the Focus ability, as well as raising the character's INT (this includes the INT+20% ability). The damage value is unaffected by rows when casting Ninjutsu skills. Equipment does not affect damage calculation of Ninjutsu, unless the weapon or armor increases the character's INT. The formula for health restoration by use of supportive Ninjutsu is unaffected by the MND stat, as the skill is based on a percentage value of the target's HP.

Etymology[]

Ninjutsu, sometimes used interchangeably with the term ninpō, is the martial art, strategy, and tactics of unconventional warfare and guerrilla warfare as well as the art of espionage purportedly practiced by the shinobi (commonly known outside of Japan as ninja). The feature of mudras and Sanskrit like writing in their casting refers to the magic of Horiki, being said to be fantastical powers gained in the sects of Mikkyo Buddhism through intensive meditation, and are said to be one curriculum in Ninjutsu said to be responsible for their mythical powers.
