The Ninja (忍者, Ninja?) is an asterisk that appears in Bravely Second: End Layer. It is obtained after defeating Konoe Kikyo.

The Ninja focuses on high speed attacks with a high hit count, and evading enemy attacks. With their innate ability Dual Wield, they can deal high amounts of damage by using two weapons without penalty, while using Ninjutsu to to avoid or redirect enemy blows.

Dual Wield 5 Support 2 slots Negates the 50% penalty to weapons' P.Atk that typically applies when equipping weapons in both hands.
Utsusemi 6 Command Evade a physical attack one time.

Comeback Kid 7 Support 1 slot With each physical attack successfully evaded, P.Atk and M.Atk each rise by 25% for three turns.
*The upper limit for P.Atk and M.Atk is 150%.
Ikkikasei 8 Command 16 MP Raise hit count by 100% for that turn only.

*The upper limit for hit count is 200%.
Kairai 9 Command Triggers at the beginning of a turn.
For that turn only, the target of enemy single-target attacks will be switched to the ally you select.

Impermanence 11 Command 32 MP Reverse the effect of all attribute bonuses and penalties. If this ability is used again while already in effect, the duration will be overwritten.

*Bonuses from special move music, berserk, and fencer stances will not be affected.

EtymologyEdit

A ninja was a covert agent or mercenary in feudal Japan who specialized in unorthodox warfare. The functions of the ninja included espionage, sabotage, infiltration, and assassination, and open combat in certain situations.
