Final Fantasy XIII
Template:Sideicon As aforementioned, "Nascent Requiem" is the theme that plays in the final battle against Orphan.
Unlike "Born Anew" or "Fighting Fate", "Nascent Requiem" has no lyrics, and is much more fast-paced, perhaps because of the battle's forced speed, due to Orphan's Doom spell. It contains the altered form of the summary motif (starting at 2:21) of "Vanille's Theme", particularly at 0:50 to 1:13 and 3:41 till the end of the loop.
"Nascent Requiem" is the nineteenth track of the fourth disc of the game's Original Soundtrack.
Masashi Hamauzu included a prototype of "Nascent Requiem", named "Last Battle Prototype+", in Final Fantasy XIII: Original Soundtrack PLUS.
Final Fantasy XIII-2
Template:Sideicon "Nascent Requiem" plays during the Beginner's Primer summary for Chapter 12.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
Template:Sideicon "Nascent Requiem" plays in levels 10-19 of the Ultimate Lair. It is also incorporated into game's final boss theme.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy
Template:Sideicon The original soundtrack contains the track "Nascent Requiem -original- from FINAL FANTASY XIII", which is the sixteenth track on disc 2. It can be purchased for 240 PP on the PP Catalog.
It plays during Lightning's final duel with Garland at the Empyreal Paradox in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. After being purchased on the PP Catalog, it can also be picked by default for battles including Lightning or taking place at Orphan's Cradle.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call
Template:Sideicon
In this theme for the final boss fight in FFXIII, the uneasy mix of harmony and dissonance seems ever changing, hiding its true form.
