Destroying Movers is the most expedient way to level up the party's jobs if the player wishes to use Freelancers to the best of their ability against Exdeath. An untrained Geomancer, for example, will instantly master the job after a single battle, while the tedium of learning skills such as Dualcast and Mimic is greatly mitigated.
Battle
Movers only appear in triplicate: their curious battle-script has them switch positions and respawn every few turns. Unless the player acts quickly to defeat all three, the encounter will end automatically. They use dangerous skills such as Circle (which will remove a character from battle) and Delta Attack, which turns the target to stone.
Strategy
Movers are easily killed by combining Blitzshots with Flame Scrolls with a mastered Cannoneer (only in the GBA and iOS versions). The player can also dualcast Holy on the group and mimic the action with Mime. Other methods to rapidly destroy Movers involve use of the Zeninage command, or repeatedly summoning Bahamut. Another method if the party is low on mana/ingredients is to equip one person with the Sage's Staff (legendary weapon) and Rapid Fire. A small contribution from other party members and the movers will die easy with no mana loss.
Another method is to equip three of the party members with Blue Magic and one with either Kick, Bladeblitz or Rapid Fire to hit all enemies. Then manually target each mover with Mind Blast, causing all three to be paralyzed and unable to move.
An extremely easy method is to use the bards Sing ability and cast Charm song. There is a high chance that they will cast fusion and kill themselves in their confused state, leaving you with one confused mover to dual cast Holy on or Rapid Fire for an easy win.
