Motor Ball is a boss in Final Fantasy VII who fights you after escaping from Shinra Headquarters As soon as the battle begins, the boss deals unblockable damage as soon as he appears.
For the rest of the battle, Motor Ball attacks using normal physicals, which are not too strong. Eventually he shifts his form and acquires new attacks. In this new form, Twin Burner hits the entire party for considerable Fire damage. If the party acquired the Elemental Materia from Domino, they can link it to a Fire Materia to lessen the damage. Motor Ball later uses Rolling Fire when weak, which is an even stronger Fire attack that hits the party, doing around 200 damage.
Offensively, the party should use Bolt, as Motor Ball is weak to Lightning. It is highly advised that Aeris be in the party to use Healing Wind, as Motor Ball's attacks are strong. Otherwise, the party should use Restore Materia linked to an All Materia, as they should have several of each by this point.
