[edit] Story
When the party first join Clan Centurio, Monid is less than impressed by the group. He usually sits in the corner, constantly stating that they are no where near as good as him. Even as other members of the clan start to respect the party, Monid is still not impressed by them. While he is sitting in a corner, Monid would often chat with and comfort a young hume child whose parents - his friends - were killed during the hunt for the white chocobo Trickster.
Monid is later seen during the hunt of Trickster. Regardless of how fast the player was, Monid will always reach the hotspot first, Monid would also inform the party should the blizzard condition for Trickster is up, and warns the party to be cautious. Monid nonetheless proved to be an honourable man, as he would allow players to take all the rewards, seeing that he himself contributed a little during the hunt.
When it comes time to actually locate the Hunters attacking clan members, Monid creates a scene in the clan hall and storms out. The rest of the clan, including the party, are suspicious of Monid, thinking he is the hunter. Montblanc then sends the party out on a hunt for Belito, to help draw out the hunters.
When the party reach the destination, they find Monid waiting, but before they can talk to him, Ba'Gamnan appears, revealing himself to be the hunter. With the help of Monid, they manage to defeat Ba'Gamnan, and drive him and his family off. Monid explains the whole situations, and pays the party. When they return to the clan hall, everyone is sorry they doubted Monid, and are glad to have him back. From there on then, Monid finally becomes a friend of the party.
