Stats[]

Battle[]

Molokujata is a colossal bovine that is rather slow, but its every movement deals damage: it rolls around sideways to deal damage to anything on its way, stomps and kicks targets near its hooves, bucks and kicks around recklessly. It can lower its horns and charge. It is weak to fire, and resists ice and light. It is weak to greatswords and shields. Strong attacks can make it topple over and become temporarily vulnerable. Its horn can be broken for the rare Large Hollowhorn.

There are some point-warp spots around the battlefield where the player can retreat.

Aranea has a chance to randomly join in on the hunt.

Strategy[]

Getting behind it to deal blindsides and blindside links works well. The player can stay out of its way by character-swapping to Prompto. It can be poisoned. If the player wants the Large Hollowhorn, they can try to lock onto the horn and warp-strike from a distance, or try the Cerberus rifle and aim manually (easily done in Wait Mode). As Prompto, equip Quicksilver and repeatedly aim the Trigger-Happy technique on the horn. His bazooka also contributes in breaking the appendage. Both weapons increase in damage with lesser distance. The battlefield has various human-sized rocks that can provide protection from its charge.

Etymology[]

Kuyūthā (Arabic: كيوثاء), also known as Kujata and Kujūta, is a cosmic bull in Arabian mythology who stands on the enormous fish Bahamut (compare Leviathan and Behemoth). Kuyūthā has four thousand eyes, and the equal amount of ears, mouths, noses, tongues, and feet, with a distance of a journey of 500 years between each of them (e.g. from eye to eye). On the back of Kuyūthā is a giant mountain of ruby, and on top of that mountain is an angel, who supports six Hells, the Earth, and seven Heavens.
