|The 4 Heroes of Light Enemy|
The Mimic is an enemy in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light.
Witch's Mansion Edit
The enemy can be encountered in the Witch's Mansion on the northeast corner of the first floor. The player should watch out for its Wallop ability, which inflicts non-elemental damage to a party member. To defeat the enemy quickly, the player should have Brandt use physical attacks and have Jusqua cast Fire. If the party's HP should begin to fall, the player should have Jusqua use Cure to heal the party. After defeating the enemy, the player receives the Steel Armor.
The enemy can be encountered inside ??? by opening the chest in the secret room of the first floor. The battle should be easier than the previous encounter, due to the fact the player is on a higher level and now has access to crowns.
To defeat the enemy, the player should have their Black Mage use Magic Mojo and then cast any Black Magic spell. If the party's HP should begin to fall, the player should have their White Mage use Healthgiver and Cure to heal the party. After defeating the enemy, the player receives the Bolt Sword.
Spelvia Dungeons Edit
There are two Mimics located in the Spelvia Dungeons. The first can be encountered by opening the chest located in the northeast section of the third bottom floor and the second can be encountered by opening the chest located inside the east secret room on first bottom floor. The player can easily defeat these enemies in a single turn with just physical attacks. After defeating both enemies, the player receives the Book of Ramuh and the Shining Cape.
Bonus Towers Edit
Mimics can be encountered in any of the bonus towers. When they are encountered in the bonus towers, the Mimics receive higher stats and retain the Wallop ability. The Mimic can become a challenge; due to the fact its physical attacks deal heavy damage to a single character.
When fighting these Mimics, it is highly advised of the player to have high defense and to attack with the Hero's Finale ability and the Black Mage’s Magic Might ability. The other party members should be using healing items and Curaga to heal damaged allies. After defeating these enemies, the player may receive secret crown armor.
