It may well be you've done no wrong. It is your place in the world that drives my hatred on. You bear the name Beoulve, and that name is my enemy.

Milleuda

Milleuda Folles, also known as Miluda Folles, is a swordmaiden of the rebel group Corpse Brigade in Final Fantasy Tactics. Her brother, Wiegraf, is the Brigade's leader, and she serves as one of his lieutenants, fighting at his side to defend Ivalice in the Fifty Years' War. Yet at war's end, the Crown failed to honor the commoners' valor with just recompense, giving them cause to rise against their former liege lords.

Story[]

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)
Milleuda at Brigands' Den

Milleuda is defeated.

She fights Ramza Beoulve's band on two occasions. Ramza is a cadet at a military academy, and a noble of the renowned House Beoulve, and thus she views him as her enemy for his aristocracy. Ramza's group attacks her at the Brigands' Den, during which she argues with the ignorant and arrogant Argath Thadalfus fighting alongside Ramza who accuses her of being a godless animal because she is a peasant. When Milleuda is defeated, Argath urges Ramza to kill her, but Ramza's friend Delita Heiral, sympathizing with her because he, too, is a peasant, stays Ramza's hand, and she limps away in disgrace.

The second battle takes place at the Lenalian Plateau as Ramza and Delita attempt to rescue Delita's sister, Tietra Heiral, who was abducted by the Corpse Brigade under assumption she is a noble. Despite Argath's absence, Milleuda is still convinced that Ramza is her enemy, even as he tries to convince her to stand down.

In the end, Ramza is forced to kill her. Her death marks the beginning of Ramza's fall from the Order of the Northern Sky, as it sets off a chain of events that results in the Ziekden Fortress incident.

Wiegraf and Milleuda's Death[]

Wiegraf becomes infuriated with Ramza, and seeks to avenge his sister's death. Despite an immediate defeat, Wiegraf remembers Ramza when they later encounter one another after Wiegraf disbands the Brigade and joins the Knights Templar. This leads to Wiegraf's transformation into Belias, and eventually to his death.

Gameplay[]

Boss[]

Milleuda is fought as a boss twice, the first time at the Brigands' Den, and the last time at the Lenalian Plateau. In the first battle, she is a level 7 Knight with 68 Bravery, 58 Faith, and equipped with the Iron Sword, Bronze Helm, Iron Helm, Chainmail, and Power Gauntlet. She has access to the Arts of War command, as well as Parry, Move +1, random Squire support abilities, and a random action ability.

During the last battle at the Lenalian Plateau, she is a level 8 Knight with 68 Bravery, 58 Faith, and equipped with the Mythril Sword, Bronze Shield, Barbut, Chainmail, and Shoulder Cape. In addition to the previous abilities, Milleuda gains Counter and Jump +1, but no longer has Move +1 or Parry.

Rendezvous[]

In The War of the Lions remake, Milleuda can be fought in the ninth Rendezvous battle: Shades of the Past. Her level is 3 higher than the highest leveled unit deployed in the battle, and she has 65 Faith and Bravery. She comes equipped with the Defender, a full set of Crystal equipment, and a Chantage. Her abilities include Arts of War, White Magick, Parry, Safeguard, and Move +1. Oddly, despite being a Virgo in the main story, Milleuda's Zodiac sign is Aquarius during this mission.
