Miasma II in Final Fantasy XIV.

Miasma II (ミアズラ, Miazura?, lit. Miasra) is a Scholar spell in Final Fantasy XIV availible at level 46. The spell is an area-of-effect version of the Miasma spell that deals unaspected damage with a potency of 100 to all targets in range surrounding the caster and deals damage over time with a potency of 25 for a period of 12 seconds. Miasma II has a casting radius of 5 yalms and has an instant cast time and a recast time of 2.5 seconds.

From the game's initial relaunch through the entirety of the Heavensward expansion, Miasma II originally could be used by Arcanists, Scholars, and Summoners. In addition, the spell also had the chance to inflict the Disease status for a duration of 15 seconds.

After the release of the Stormblood expansion, Miasma II was removed from the game to remove abilities that were not being used commonly by players. However, the ability was reinstated into the game as a Scholar exclusive ability to address complaints of the job's lack of damage arsenal compared to other healers.
