A Memento is an object found in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. They can be obtained by speaking to Filo on the Galbana. There are four types of Mementos: Flowers, Fountains, Statues, and Crests.

FlowersEdit

Flowers are obtained by completing a set number of melee battles.

Name Title Requirement
Colorful Flowerbed Skirmisher Win 5 melee battles.
Ephemeral Flowerbed Combatant Win 20 melee battles.
Verdant Flowerbed Warlord Win 100 melee battles.

FountainsEdit

Fountains are obtained by collecting a certain amount of gil.

Note: The game takes spent gil into account too, so don't worry about spending a bit of your hard-earned cash.

Marble Fountain Fortune Hunter Collect 100,000 gil.
Gleaming Fountain Robber Baron Collect 500,000 gil.
Ardent Fountain Merchant Prince Collect 1,000,000 gil.

StatuesEdit

Statues are obtained by enlisting a certain amount of Yarhi on the Ring of Pacts.

Wings of the Warbird Beastmaster Enlist 12 Espers.
Viera Idol Grand Illusionist Enlist 25 Espers.
Tomato Trophy Master Summoner Enlist all Espers.

CrestsEdit

Crests are normally obtained by completing a certain amount of missions.

Bronze Crest Clan Leader Start Adventure.
Silver Crest Trained Tactician Complete 25% of missions.
Gold Crest Expert Strategist Complete 45% of missions.
Seraphic Crest Brilliant Visionary Complete 70% of missions.
Empyreal Crest Revenant Slayer Complete 100% of missions.

EtymologyEdit

Memento comes from the Latin mementō ("remember!"), imperative form of meminī ("I remember"). It means a keepsake, an object kept as a reminder of a place or event.
