Medusa is an enemy exclusive to Final Fantasy V Advance. Despite being a Lamia recolor, its name pays homage to the common enemy introduced in Final Fantasy

Medusa is a dangerous enemy using petrification attacks such as Embrace and Evil Eye on the party. She also uses Entice to cause Confuse. Medusa can easily take out the whole party so be sure to keep a lot of Gold Needles around.

Etymology Edit

In Greek mythology Medusa was a monster, a Gorgon, generally described as having the face of a hideous human female with living venomous snakes in place of hair. Gazing directly upon her would turn onlookers to stone.
