Trouble with the audio sample?

"Matoya's Cave" is the eponymous theme of the dwelling place of Matoya, from the original Final Fantasy. It is actually the theme that plays whenever the party enters any cave, including the Dwarves' Cave. The theme is one of the most popular tracks in the series.

"Matoya's Cave" was recorded as an instrumental rock tune (featuring a peculiar blues interlude performed by Kenichiro Fukui) for The Black Mages' second studio album The Black Mages II: The Skies Above.

[edit] English translation

The prince of Marano has flown away.
He went away aboard his ship
Across the galaxy,
To find in the night
His friend, the blue knight,
Whom the king of Gand has imprisoned.
The prince and his army have left to save him.
Night has fallen on the planet Lerre.
The beautiful princess in her palace of glass
Dreams that she's flying among the planets,
And that's she's with her charming prince.
When he returns,
All his people shall praise him.
Never again, no, never shall he leave
Without bringing her, for
The beautiful princess and the prince are going to be wed.
