FFBE Mateus's Malice
A rod handed down from another world. It was said to have been owned by an tyrannical emperor who had aspirations of world domination. This rod full of demonic power was created with an insatiable hunger for subjugation, the overflowing power of which sucks away at the SPR of any who come close to it. If one wishes to handle this weapon, it is necessary that they are of unshakably strong will.

Mateus's Malice (マティウスの悪意, Matiusu no Akui?) is a recurring weapon in the series. As indicated by the name, it is a weapon wielded exclusively by Emperor Mateus.

Dissidia Mateus's Malice is a level 100 exclusive weapon for Emperor, providing +307 HP, +67 Attack, +1 Defense, has Minor Anti-EX effect, and EX Intake Range +6m. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 31,920 gil, Demon's Rod, Lust for Power x5, and Healing Orb x5.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia012 Mateus's Malice returns as a level 100 exclusive weapon for Emperor, providing +327 HP, -80 Bravery, +68 Attack, +1 Defense, slight Anti-EX effect, and EX Intake Range +3m. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 182,800 gil, Demon's Rod, Lust for Power, and Despot's Hope x5.

Dissidia Final Fantasy (2015)Edit

Dissidia Mateus's Malice reappears alongside the Emperor himself, in the 2015 Arcade rendition of Dissidia Final Fantasy. Unlike in the original game or Duodecim, however, the weapon acts as the Emperor's default weapon.
