Material refers to the items obtained from monsters after defeating them, treasure boxes, or awarded as prizes after completing a quest in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series. Materials are used, along with scrolls, to craft new armor or weapon for characters.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant WingsEdit

In Revenant Wings, materials are not obtained by defeating monsters, but by Scavenging from several icons on a battlefield known as Material Nodes. Only Group Leaders can scavenge these nodes. These materials are added to the player's inventory after the battle. It should be noted that materials are obtained only if the battle is won, or else the materials scavenged will be lost.

Materials are used for crafting weapons by presenting specific materials to Cu Sith. Each type of material is divided into three classes: Low, Medium, and High. When used for crafting of weapons, higher class materials increase stats more as when compared to lower class materials.

Materials can also be sold and bought from Llyud's Material Shop in the Sky Saloon and more materials will become available as the story progresses. However, rare High-class materials such as Rubies cannot be bought here and must be scavenged from specific places.

Final Fantasy Crystal ChroniclesEdit

Materials are used with scrolls to create new armor, weapons, and accessories. Most material will be obtained from monsters after defeating them. Some material can only be obtaining during certain cycles and some can only be obtained from the dungeon boss. Some material can also be purchased from Merchants who appear in various towns.

Materials are used with scrolls to create new armor, weapons, and accessories. Materials are obtained from monsters in dungeons and defeating dungeon bosses award characters with with materials. Materials can also be purchased from the Workshop in Rebena Te Ra. In Multiplayer mode, Adventurers can take Quest assigned by King Kolka and after completing them, obtain materials as a possible prize.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of TimeEdit

Materials are used with scrolls to create new armor, weapons, and accessories. Materials are obtained from monsters and bosses once defeating them. Adventures can be assigned Quest by Stiltzkin where Adventurers can be awarded materials when completing them.
