Template:SideiconTemplate:Images The Materia Caves glitch is a glitch in Final Fantasy VII.
This glitch can occur with any of the four Materia Caves found across the Planet. When the player first walks into the cave, they can either walk in front of the Materia crystal, or behind it. If the player walks behind the crystal, and decides to get the Materia, there is a very small chance that after obtaining the Materia, a second text box with the same message will appear, making it seem as though the player has obtained a second Materia. However, after closing the text box, Cloud becomes incapable of moving and the game freezes.
