Mandragora Prince (マンドラプリンス, Mandorapurinsu?) is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series. It is a stronger version of the Mandragora that appears as a boss encounter, often as part of the Mandragoras group.

Mandragora Prince is a boss fought in the Sochen Cave Palace as a member of the Mandragoras, and later as a regular enemy in the Feywood, where an Indigo Pendant can be rarely stolen from it. It is also fought in the Zodiac versions' Trial Mode Stage 24 alongside eight regular Mandragoras, and in Stage 27 with the other boss mandragoras where the Sash can be stolen from it.

The Mandragora Prince is a boss encountered during One Prince in Lower La Noscea. Despite his size, he fights no differently than regular Mandragoras, using only auto-attacks.

Etymology[]
Mandragora is a plant belonging to the nightshade family. According to legends surrounding witchcraft, when mandragoras (Mandrake plants) are uprooted, they emit a piercing scream which kills all who hear it.
