A subspecies of the capparwire, the mandragora behaves quite similarly to its progenitor. However, the mandragoras has developed the unique ability to sap magical power, a power which proves to be a real thorn in the collective side of the magic-dependent dominion legions.
Etymology[]
Mandragora is a plant belonging to the nightshade family. According to legends surrounding witchcraft, when mandragoras (Mandrake plants) are uprooted, they emit a piercing scream which kills all who hear it.
