The Malboro Menace, also known as the Worst Malboro, is an enemy in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. It is encountered in the Depths of the True Moon, and can cast Doom on a character. It is also encountered as a Monster-in-a-box in two chests containing Elixirs.
Malboro Menace is a semi-dangerous foe due to its Doom ability and thus needs to be defeated quickly. Menace Malboros also have access to their traditional Bad Breath and Bile attacks, and will follow a strict pattern of Doom > Attack > Bile > Attack > Bad Breath > Attack, and will then repeat the pattern starting back at Doom.
Quake, Flare, Leviathan, and Bahamut are prime choices for magic-based attacks, while physical attacks should focus on using their best abilities at the time. Malboro Menaces can also inflict Sap and moderate non-elemental damage to the party with their Bile ability as well.
