Description

Malboros, recurring enemies in the Final Fantasy series, also appear in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. As always, they are large green monsters with many eyes, tentacles, and a horrible odor. Their Stench commands (Malboro command. Poison with slime and breath.) cause status ailments. It has no Reaction or Support command. They have a more dangerous relative with more HP, the Big Malboro.

Etymology

The name may be a reference to Marlboro Cigarettes, since the creatures often spew horrid fumes from their mouths.

  • As with all Tactics Advance enemies, Malboro leave behind remains when they are defeated. Malboro's defeated forms are unique, as they still resemble their full form, albeit a bit shrunk.
