Contrary to its menacing look, the Malboro is relatively easy to defeat. The Malboro will occasionally try to Poison Zack, but its attack can be avoided by simply dodging it. The player can move behind the Malboro to deal Critical Hits and use any Fire-based attacks for increased damage.
