Template:Listen The "Main Theme of FINAL FANTASY IV" (ファイナルファンタジーIV メインテーマ, Fainaru Fantajī IV Mein Tēma?, lit. Final Fantasy IV Main Theme) is the Main Theme of Final Fantasy IV and one of its leitmotifs. It was composed by Nobuo Uematsu and rearranged by its original composer and other artists many times.
The tracks are arrangements of this track, played during purposely emotional scenes and whenever the player travels across the Underworld respectively.
Game appearances
Final Fantasy IV
Template:Spoilers As the game's main theme, the "Main Theme of FINAL FANTASY IV" plays as the player travels the Overworld world map; but it has also several arrangements in the soundtrack, and its theme is included in some tracks:
"Theme of Sorrow" is one of the earliest arrangements heard, and is played during mournful plot moments, such as the death of Anna; "Paladin", which plays when Cecil Harvey is converted into a Paladin, is a short arrangement; and "Land of Dwarves", which plays at the Underworld's world map, is another arrangement of the main theme. The game's "Ending Theme" includes several elements of this theme.
All of the above tracks were further rearranged by Junya Nakano for the soundtrack of the Final Fantasy IV remake for the Nintendo DS. The main theme was also included in the game's opening theme, composed by Junya Nakano as well.
The main theme plays out at the beginning and in the end, and this key point is something the game's scenario writer Takashi Tokita feels most proud of. In the section with the Tower of Bab-il where everyone comes together the developers initially wanted use the main theme, but it was decided it wouldn't give the same effect, so it was cut out from that section and kept for the ending.[1] Template:Endspoilers

Only computers remained for him after the end of human kind and the planet. He abandoned Earth with a rocket... faster than light. Reversing time, he entered eternity, just as he witnessed the birth of the blue planet Earth. The beauty of the single planet in the darkness could not be expressed in words. Only then did "loneliness" overcome his heart. Imagine such a story. The scenes will come up in front of your eyes.
