The Magus (魔人, Majin?, lit. Magician or magical being), also known as the Warlock, is a job class in Final Fantasy III. It is gained from the Earth Crystal. A Magus can cast all Black Magic spells. They also possess higher MP for high-level Black Magic. In all respects, the Magus Job is basically a powered up version of the Black Mage Job.

Famicom versionEdit

The Magus (Warlock) can cast every Black Magic in the game, making them very useful. However, the Sage job makes this class obsolete, since Sages can cast any Black Magic, White Magic, and high Summon Magic.
