[edit] Prologue
The opening teaser depicts Kaze using the Magun to summon Phoenix. Fabula appears and welcomes viewers to the night of Wonderland and invites them to enter. She recaps the events outlined in the previous episode about the appearance of the Pillar of Darkness and the gun dragon and sword dragon. Ai and Yu have journeyed to Wonderland and meet up with a woman named Lisa. "And have crossed the path of this man when they reached their destination. And on this man's arm is... Magun."
[edit] Black Wind, Departing
- "Hey, Mister, we're looking for our parents and you're looking for someone too, aren't you?! You asked if he was here."
"Well, now you've done it, Yu. He's stopped and he'll probably come back and shoot us." - —Yu and Ai
The episode opens with a depiction of the smoking Magun. Kaze considers it, puts it away and walks away into the distance. Yu shouts after him, but Lisa puts her arm in his hand and shakes her hand in warning. "Something about him, I don't like," comments Ai. Yu, however, shouts thanks at him as he continues to walk away. He says that they're looking for their parents and he must be looking for someone too because he asked if he was there. Kaze stops and Ai says that he's probably coming back to shoot them, but Kaze just stands and looks pensive. Suddenly, he has a flashback. He remembers a man with white hair, Makenshi. Coming out of the flashback, he gasps and looks back at Yu. Yu decides that the man, whom they've been calling "Mister" up to this point, needs a name. Lisa again asks if he's seen Ai and Yu's parents. She asks him also to tell them that they're looking for them, should he run into them. "Kaze," finishes Yu, using his name for the man.

- "There's someone trying to destroy my harmony."

From atop a high cliff, Oscha, watches the scene below and giggles. He releases a fairy in the form of a puppet, Crux, and magically brings it to life. He orders her to "go on." "Kukuruyu," she responds, and flies away. An airship takes to the skies and arrives at the forbidding fortress of Gaudium. Atop the palace sits Makenshi, the White Cloud. Inside, a boy, Earl Tyrant, stabs at some greens on a plate. He babbles about how it provides the perfect flavor and how not having it would disrupt his perfect harmony. "There's someone trying to destroy my harmony," he continues. A projector displays the sequence of Kaze using the Magun and summoning Phoenix. The earl stabs at the meat on his plate, sending it crashing, and throws a fit. "He shot me! He shot me! He shot me!" A woman holding an umbrella over her head, Herba, descends by the boy's side and tells him that he's cute when he's angry. A man, Fungus, promises to "go and deal with the intruder at once." The earl says that he wants him dead. "Gladly," responds Fungus. Herba taunts Fungus, calling him a coward for not dealing with Kaze straightaway. Fungus responds that he came back to report the news to "his excellency" as quickly as possible. "Whatever," Herba responds. "You just stink the place up with mildew." The earl continues that he can't just allow people to do as they please in his world of Wonderland. Oscha assures him that he can rest easy, as the doll he made, Crux, is now on the trail of the interlopers. "No matter where they may try to hide, there is no way they can escape our observation, excellency." "You're a good man," says the earl and Oscha tells him not "waste his valuable words" praising him. He and the earl entrust Fungus to take care of the intruders and he declares it "as good as done," departing in a cloud of smoke.
[edit] Wonderings and Wanderings
- "I think he kinda likes you."
"Are you nuts? Remember what he did to me last time?" - —Yu and Ai
Kaze continues his wandering in the strange world of Wonderland, searching for the White Cloud. As he does, he recalls a scene of terrible destruction and vows not to forget. "Where are you?" he asks. Elsewhere, Ai, Yu and Lisa continue their own wandering, but Ai has become tired and stops, insisting that her legs hurt. She asks for a break, but Yu reminds her that they have to keep looking for her parents. Lisa encourages her to keep going, reminding her that she read in Day of Conjunction that her parents once ventured into Wonderland before and survived, so she can too. Lisa promises to give it her best and Yu says that he's definitely going to. He remembers their parents and how they said that they were going to go look at Wonderland. He thought they were just going to the beach. Ai and Yu both ask Lisa to tell them some stuff about her. She just laughs nervously. "There you go again with that creepy laugh," responds Ai. Yu asked where she learned the Kigen Arts maneuver she demonstrated in the previous epiosde and she calls it nothing. As they continue walking, they hear a sound. "Kweh?" At first, they're afraid, but then they spot the source of the noise. "Mr. Birdy?" asks Yu. He sees that the bird is wearing a collar and Ai wonders if it's the same bird that they saw in the previous episode. "Don't you stare at me" she says and the bird runs up to her. Yu says that he thinks it kind of likes her. "Remember what he did to me last time?" retorts Ai and, sure enough, the chocobo again grabs on to her and starts flailing her about.

- "Well, do you know where we might be able to find a more populated area?"
"Let me guess! You only know rumors." - —Lisa and Ai
As Kaze continues walking about, the airship from before appears overhead. Back with Ai, Yu and Lisa, the chocobo runs off, apparently scared. "Where did Mr. Birdy go?" wonders Yu and Ai wonders why they're even bothering to chase the bird. Yu responds that the bird is wearing a collar and so he might belong to someone. Lisa says that even so, they'd better be careful. They've ended up in a weird forest. Just then, they spot the bird with another chocobo that has person atop it. The person introduces herself as Chocobaba and says that she loves all the chocobos. "At least, that's the rumor." She asks if they came from the outside world. She doesn't have any idea what world she came from. She identifies the bird they've been chasing as a chocobo. Yu asks if she's seen their parents. "Who knows?" she responds. Suddenly, her chocobo, a black one, chirps and she runs off, saying "This is bad news." As Ai wonders what's wrong with her, Yu discovers a feather on the ground. As he picks it up, another bomb appears, forming a monster. Lisa tells him and Ai to run as fast they can. The mushroom-like monster shoots off a number of spores. "Multiply! Multiply! Multiply!" As Ai and Yu take cover, Lisa uses her Kigen Arts to try to drive back the monsters. It doesn't work and Ai and Yu are surrounded by a group of the monsters, while Lisa is taken by one. As Ai and Yu crouch in terror, the chocobo feather that Yu picked up begins to glow. Chobi appears on the scene and launches an attack on one of the monsters. They think they're saved, but then he runs off, leaving them still surrounded. Bullets riddle the air, shooting and destroying all the monsters. It's the man from before, Kaze. He says he has something he wants to ask them, but before he can do so, the monsters reappear. He shoots at them until they finally all disappear, becoming only mushrooms in the ground, only for a new menace to appear...
[edit] Confrontation with Fungus
- "A nice display! If you really think you can take me with the Magun, then go ahead and try!"

Fungus shouts at him that the Black Wind has finally decided to put in an appearance. Kaze shoots him like he did with the monsters, but the attack has no effect and Fungus simply crushes the bullets in his mouth. "He's not human," realizes Lisa. He introduces himself as one of the four lords of Gaudium and says that he's come to exterminate them. The Magun moves and Lisa warns the kids to stay back. Fungus urges Kaze to go ahead and try if he thinks he can take him with the Magun. Kaze decides on the soil charge-- "An infinity that surpasses the heavens: Sky Blue. A completeness that goes through solid ground: Earth Brown. And finally, the deception to hollow out a dimension: Magic Violet. Come ou! I summon you, Typhon!" Fungus is hit with the force of the summon. It first seems to have no effect. "Is that all you've got?! I can take this all day!" Then, the summon appears and directs a blast of energy at him. He imprisoned in a cube and starts getting compressed. "Typhon is one with the wind," explains Kaze. "He is a summon that will disappear along with the space that imprisons him. The summon seemingly compacts Fungus out of existence and the nine-note victory fanfare plays. From above, Crux watches. The scene changes and Ai asks if Kaze asked if they knew "White Cloud." Yu admits that they really don't know much of anything about Wonderland. Lisa says that they'd like to help. Yu starts to say that if he's looking for someone else too, they should... but Lisa stops him and thanks Kaze, who has already started walking away again. Both Yu and Ai thank him and then Yu places the chocobo feather in his hair. "Does it look good?" he asks of Ai. "No way!" she says. The chocobo appears and Yu says that it's trying to tell them that the subway is about to depart. It seems that the feather has put in touch with the chocobo's consciousness.

Fabula predicts that the adventurers are headed to a dangerous place, one where pollen falls and flutters about. "If you wish for it, it will come true. Your dreams can become a reality. Fruit: The Town of Sweet Scent. Next time, I'll offer you my Unlimited guidance."
