Magicite (Record Keeper)

Template:Sideicon Magicite are party-level augments in Final Fantasy Record Keeper. Adding an extra level to the previous Record Materia, Record Spheres, and Legend Materia systems, Magicite were introduced with the August 24, 2017 backend update.

Overview

Unlike all prior augments, Magicite are equipped to an entire active party rather than to individual Heroes. In this way, they can be saved to a player's list of favorites.

Magicite can only be unlocked via Magicite Dungeons at present, which requires clearance of all twelve Nightmare cycles, including all exclusive bosses.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]Magicite is the combination of "Magic" and "-ite". The suffix ite is derived from the Greek word lithos (from its adjectival form -ites), meaning "rock" or "stone".
