Template:Sideicon Template:Enemy Maelspike is an enemy in Final Fantasy X found in the underwater tunnels in the cave at Mt. Gagazet. It has a powerful magic attack called Maelstrom, which hits all party members. It is susceptible to Wakka's Dark Attack which makes defeating it much easier.
It drops weapons with Strength +3% and Strength +5%, and armor with Zombie Ward, Defense +5%, and Defense +10%.
