StoryEdit

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Long ago, the ancient gods possessed a powerful force called The MAGI. But they later split it into seventy-seven different pieces and scattered them throughout the different worlds. One of those pieces has been given to the main character by his/her father. And now, along with his/her three other companions, they journey across each worlds searching for the rest of the MAGI and the main character's long-lost father.

These seventy-seven MAGI makes the statue of a goddess called Isis. Each MAGI has its own power, and some are using the power of MAGI to become gods. Dad along with the Guardians are trying to prevent MAGI from being abused, and prevent the world from becoming unstable.

The Guardians misled everyone by spreading misinformation that there were seventy-seven MAGI in total, rather than seventy-eight. When Apollo uses the seventy-seven MAGI together, it ends up destroying him instead since he was missing the last piece of MAGI.

The main characters, the Guardians and Gods were part of Isis's own plan, as she intentionally divided herself into seventy-eight pieces and scattered them around the worlds precisely to inspire legends and raise heroes strong enough to help her do regular maintenance on the worlds, the multiple Pillar of Sky and the Central Shrine. At the end of the story, she divided herself up once again so that the entire process could repeat itself sometime in the distant future. She tells the heroes that their descendants might awaken her. The main character reassures her that they'll let their children know about her and the MAGI.

Spoilers end here.

EtymologyEdit

In Latin, Magi is plural of Magus, which means "wizard". Magi is also a term used since at least the 4th century BC to denote followers of Zoroaster, or rather, followers of what the Hellenistic world associated Zoroaster with, which was—in the main—the ability to read the stars, and manipulate the fate that the stars foretold.
