Longbow (ロングボウ, Rongu Bou?) is a recurring Bow in the series. It is usually a low to mid-ranked bow with no special properties.

The Longbow is a low-ranked weapon, being the second weakest bow in the game, and provides 5 Attack and 40% Accuracy. One can be found in Bafsk, while additional others are bought for 250 gil in Bafsk and Salamand.
Final Fantasy XI

Longbows have higher damage and delay than Shortbows, but can be equipped by fewer Jobs (some only for use by Rangers). The earliest version is at level 5.
Final Fantasy XII

The Longbow is a low-ranked bow that requires 30 LP and the Bows 2 License to use. It provides 33 Attack and is bought for 3,000 gil in Rabanastre. Bows are among the slowest weapons in the game with 2.96s charge, and 1.4s action time.
In the International Zodiac Job System version, the Archer class can equip the Longbow with the Bows 3 License for 35 LP.

Longbow is the second weakest bow in the game, only being slightly stronger than the Shortbow. It provides 19 Attack and 5 Range, and teaches the Archer the ability Focus for 100 AP. It can be bought for 120 gil in the shop after creating it in the Bazaar after using a Molting, Sturdy Vine, and Mape Wood.

Long Bow is a low-ranked bow that can be used by any race. It provides 30 attack at level 1 and 142 attack at level 30, gives +25 Stun, has one empty slot, and can be bought for 600 gil. It can also be created for 150 gil by using up three Iron, three Tree Branch, and three Green Fay Dust. When turned into a jewel, a level 3-9 Long Bow makes a Ward Stone 1, level 10-19 makes a Spirit Stone 3, and level 20-30 makes a Tiny Oscura Pearl.
